The Community Colleges in the Central/Mother Lode region offer technology education, manufacturing training, and consulting services that contribute to continuous workforce development, technology deployment and business development. The network of 115 Community Colleges across California contribute to the vibrancy of California's Advanced Manufacturing sector by helping them compete successfully in changing markets and the global economy.

Special Projects

Student Career Pathways
Community Colleges provide training to students and individuals in the workforce who are in need of skill development. Training programs are from four to eighteen weeks and are designed for concentrated learning. Working in partnership with industry, the programs mirror industries' needs; new programs are continually developed to teach skills that relate directly to jobs. The end result is highly skilled workers ready to land jobs and earn promotions that pay well.
